Slide delicately balances a small storage function with sculptural beauty, incorporating multiple simple materials like smoked glass, hand-cast concrete, cork and ash wood. Slide was born out of a collaboration between Central St. Martens and Fritz Hansen, when Christian Andresen, former Fritz Hansen’s Head of Design, mentored Nakamura.
